According to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It's what I love to do more than anything and I'm determined to achieve it." Evans is also hoping to be successful by returning to the traditional style of country music that was influenced by famous artists like Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Also, she was influenced from George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Patty Loveless. Evans was born in 1970, made her first mark during the latter part of 1990, in which many young country music singers turned to modern pop songs. It is evident through her first album released in 1997, True Lies. Although it received a lot of praise and a nomination by the Academy of Country Music in 1998 as the most promising female singer, True Lies made little impact. Evans released her next album that year, No Place That Far was a result of bowing to producers that convinced the singer to improve her vocal range. Finally, she received the recognition that she has been wishing for ever from the time she was young. Sara Evans, born on February 5, 1971, in Columbia Missouri and is an American singer and songwriter. Sara Evans was raised with six of her siblings.
